NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation, free and safe download. NoLimits 2 Roller Coaster Simulation latest version: A Full Version Emulator game for Windows.
Mad Data Software has released its rollercoaster simulation for the Macintosh. The new title is available for download from the Web site as a playable demo. NoLimits helps fill a void felt for years by Mac gamers who have often clamored for the enormously popular game Rollercoaster Tycoon. As a rollercoaster ride simulator, the scale of NoLimits is a little different - there's no theme park to manage here - but the core of what makes that other game fun will appeal to Mac gamers who have sought a rollercoaster game of their own. Mad Data Software bills NoLimits as an accurate physics simulator that's already used by real-life rollercoaster companies and designers to help better understand what proposed rides will look and feel like. NoLimits sports a track editor that lets you build your own rollercoaster in a wire-frame display, then render them out in OpenGL and ride them. You can create steel-tube roller coasters, inverted tracks, hypercoasters, tunnels, loops, wooden coasters and more.
If you'd rather just ride than design, Nolimits ships with 40 pre-made tracks and supports hundreds of custom tracks available for free download, designed by rollercoaster enthusiasts that already use the software. System requirements call for a G3/500MHz with Mac OS X v10.2.4 or higher - Panther is supported; 128MB RAM; 50MB hard disk space; and an OpenGL-compatible graphics processor with at least 16MB VRAM. An 11.6MB demo is available for download.
It costs US$25 to register. This story, 'NoLimits rollercoaster simulation comes to Mac' was originally published.
